Current inquiries in the practice as of April 2026: writing, comics, painting & drawing, music and reading.
The letters document how all of this develops.
The inquiry is into how fiction and poetry reach interior states — what a moment holds beneath its surface, what can be said between the lines.
Reflections, essays, comic scripts and letters in English. Literary fiction and poetry in Swedish.
What the Painting Wants To Become (2026) — Essay on discovering that defining the outcome in advance is the thing most likely to prevent it.
Tjugonde november (2026,Swedish) — Commandant Horn defends Narva against the tsar's overwhelming army in the autumn of 1700.
Trädgårdsmästaren (on hold) — A poet discovers that time starts and stops.
Comics offer the interior access of literary fiction, the visual storytelling of film, and the ability to stage any world at no additional cost.
The comic gutter between panels is where the reader does the hard work. The inquiry is into how much can be left unsaid.
Little Eagle Down (black and white, 2025).
The Seed of Light (active): A journalist discovers secrets about the diamond he was given — and about the woman who gave it.

The inquiry is into what a painting wants to become rather than what I decide it should be. The practice is in staying open to what emerges.
I compose instrumental pieces, mostly for guitar — small, complete forms. The model is how Chopin worked: the piece is finished when it's finished, not when it's long enough.
The inquiry is into taking a musical idea from internal hearing to finished recording.
I treat reading as a serious part of the practice, not as leisure. Reading like a writer means reading broadly — fiction, non-fiction, good books and bad ones.
Currently reading Lucy by Jamaica Kincaid, and Molloy by Samuel Beckett.
